With The7, it is possible to create a complete e-commerce with the woocommerce extension. On the other hand, The7 can be used to create a blog, a niche or authority site.

The7 is therefore rightly considered as an all-in-one WordPress theme that can be used on any site, regardless of its size. Indeed, thanks to the many extensions it includes, The7 requires few additional plugins. This is unlike a free theme that allows you to make a complete site only by adding many extensions.

As previously stated, The7 is clearly a high-end theme and therefore, it will be more suitable for creating an authority site or a money site in general. In addition, the cost of the theme is quite high and can only be used on one site.

Services offered by The7

The7 is a full-featured theme and therefore, it has many features. We will present you the main ones below, so that you can get an idea of how this theme works.

To start, you will obviously need to activate the theme. To do this, nothing could be easier. Just upload the theme to WordPress, then give the license key, received when you purchased The7.

Once the license key is filled in, you can start to see the settings, import sites, etc.

Please note that during the installation, the plugins offered with the purchase of the theme install themselves in the “extensions” section of WordPress. It is possible to delete them by going to this same section.

Pre-created websites

The main feature and added value of The7. This function allows you toimport pre-made sites. You can either import a complete site with several pages or a single page(blog part, home page, contact page, etc.).

The7 offers multiple pre-created sites. You can therefore sort them by adding keywords. For example, you can search for an e-commerce site, another made with ElementorGutenberg or WPbakery.

In some cases, you will need to add extensions to your site to import a template. This is especially the case for templates using Elementor or WooCommerce.

Let’s take an example to illustrate. We will upload a pre-made site with WpBakery, the page builder included with The7 :

Before importing this site, you can choose several options. For example, we can import the settings of this template, the textual content, images and videos as well as the slideshows. Also, you can choose toimport the whole site or just one page of this template.

In this example, you can choose to import only the home page, the team presentation page, the blog page, the services presentation page, etc.

If you choose to import all the content, the transfer will start quickly and will be done in a few minutes. Be careful, this process will overwrite all the structure of your site, so remember to make a backup before importing a template.

To illustrate, we will import the entire template on a site.

We can see that the home page takes place directly with the menu, widgets, contact page and others. And yes, we justimported a real site, complete and ready to use. Afterwards, we will have to change what is written so that the text fits our site.

As we downloaded a template made with WPBakery, all pages naturally use this page builder. Thus, to modify them, you will have to go through this manufacturer. It is however possible to use another one like Elementor, but the template will not necessarily be adapted to it. If you are not a pro, it is better to use WpBakery in this case.

As you can see, WPBakery is unlike any other page builder. It is quite complex to handle at first. However, to simply edit text in a template, no experience is necessary.

Finally, the template will also create a menu, widgets, a footer bar and more. If you are happy with these elements, you can leave them in or change them as you wish. We advise you to modify at least the bottom bar, to place your legal mentions and your copyright.

In summary, the ability to import pre-created websites is a big plus. All of these templates save a lot of time if you want to have a nice website.

Nevertheless, it will be necessary to spend time to modify the pages and to delete others, not necessary. The best is to import only the pages of a pre-made site that suit you, in order to have a lesser workload.

WPBakery

WPBakery is the page builder included in the The7 theme. Like elementor, divi builder or others, it allows you to create homepages, contact pages and any other type of complex pages. Nevertheless, we think it is more difficult to use. That’s why we’re going to introduce it quickly so that you can understand how it works.

To begin with, it is important to know that WP Bakery, like other builders, works in block form. Its particularity is that we do not see the page being built in real time.

In fact, you will add element by element to build a page, but you will only see the rendering by clicking on the“preview article/page” button in WordPress. It is possible to edit a page while seeing the rendering by clicking on “visual editor“. However, this feature is not yet optimal and difficult to use without bugs.

You can see that WP Bakery displays three buttons on its interface. Thus, you can add an element among all the existing ones, add a text block or download a template. In the latter, we can transfer a template and modify it as we wish.

So you can either build a page, no matter what type(home page, contact, blog, etc.), or import a template and modify it. WP Bakery has many templates to help you create beautiful pages. Here are some examples:

Note that these templates are not the same as those presented in the “pre-created websites” section. As with all the other pre-made templates, you just have to install them and modify them with your content.

On this element, WP Bakery gives us access to many settings. You can change the color, the text and choose the design from several pre-made templates. Let’s say you want to sell an e-book on weight loss. Thanks to The7 and Wp Bakery, you can create a small presentation box in a few minutes.

The rendering is not necessarily optimal but was done very quickly and can obviously be improved. It is also possible to use a template for the presentation of prices to modify it and thus have a more elaborate design.

WP Bakery is rather designed to create complex pages that will integrate a lot of visual elements, such as a homepage or a product selection page. However, it can also be used to make simple blog posts.

In summary, WP Bakery is a fairly complex builder to use considering all the features it offers. However, it can be used to create any type of page on a daily basis or can be used to add articles. It’s a free builder, integrated with The7, that offers the possibility to create beautiful creations without having to pay another builder like Elementor Pro.

Theme settings and speed

The settings are a bit more complex to handle than with other themes. Some things will change, especially to add the logo and favicon. It is indeed via the theme settings that you will have to add them and not in the WordPress settings.

Otherwise, a lot of things can be changed. Many tutorials are offered by The7 to understand the settings and have the site you want.

As far as speed is concerned, The7 is considered as a performing theme avoiding long loading times.

To test, we will analyze a blog post from a site using The7 :

We can see that on the computer, The7 is very fast and has a score of 94. However, on mobile, the score is only 51. This means that a user on mobile will take longer to load pages. This score is certainly in the average of high-end themes, but will have to be improved if you want to have the most optimized site possible.

In itself, the speed score is honorable but necessarily less impressive than with an ultra light theme like Astra or generatePress, for example.

The rates

The “regular” license is sold at $39 ex VAT on the envato market, which is $49 including VAT. Please note that this license can only be used on one site. With a single license, it is not possible to use The7 on several sites, as is the case with Divi for example.

With this license, The7 gives access to several premium plugins. To start with, you will have access to WPBakery page, an ultra complete page builder. Next, The7 offers the The7 Elements plugin which, as the name suggests, will add elements to the page builder.

Also, this theme includes the Slider Revolution plugin to create slideshows. Finally, the GoPricing and ConvertPlus plugins, which can be used to increase the conversion rate in a woocommerce environment.

All in all, The7 deserves its title as a premium WordPress theme for obvious reasons. The number of templates is largely sufficient and allows to create beautiful pages quickly, without losing in design and mobile ergonomics.

The theme is not necessarily easy to learn at first. Nevertheless, it is easy to use it every day to customize your site once you know how it works. The same goes for the use of WPBakery Page, which is difficult to understand at first.

Of course, The7 is not free, but in our opinion it offers very good value for money. The number of available templates, the page builder and other features make it a complete theme that can be used for any site.

So, if you want to create a website with a premium theme, we highly recommend The7!

The alternative to The7

The7 is an ultra complete theme that comes with its own page builder. Thus, it is difficult to find competitors that offer as many features. However, if you look hard enough, you can find themes that match the requirements of The7 users.

The most credible alternative is obviously Divi. It is basically a page builder, but has the particularity tointegrate its own WordPress theme. With Divi, it is possible to create beautiful, responsive and design pages.

It is also a theme that integrates a lot of templates to create any type of website. Added to that, a divi license offers a mail capture plugin, another to create a magazine and the last one to create sharing boxes for social networks.

Another alternative could be to take a free theme like Astra or GeneratePress and use Elementor Pro. This way, you can have a quick theme while having access to templates to create beautiful pages and/or complete sites thanks to Elementor.

Finally, another great theme for site editors is ReHub. This theme is designed to create different types of money site, such as an e-commerce or a product comparison site. It does not include a complete site template, but offers many modules to create call-to-actions, especially for amazon affiliation .

How to use The7?

You can use The7 to create a simple showcase site of a few pages, or a real authority site. In each case, the use of The7 will be different. Nevertheless, in both cases, we will have access to all the templates to create a homepage, widgets, blogs, etc.
