We often forget that it takes more than a good strategy to succeed in your first online business.
The productivity and a strong mind are the keys to last in the long run!

1 – You are the average of the 5 people you see most often
It’s amazing how true this sentence is. No matter how good your surroundings are, your brain will always try to push you to not be the last of the herd.
So choose your entourage carefully.
Surround yourself with ambitious people who have the same life goals as you.
If you have to constantly justify your choices to your loved ones, you will waste time and energy.
You’ll end up doubting yourself.
Join a group of ambitious people who share the same values as you.
Imagine spending your days with successful entrepreneurs.
You will have the proof in front of your eyes every day that it is possible.
You’ll have to succeed.
2 – Set yourself goals to achieve
- Short term (3-6 months) β Realistic but ambitious goals
- Medium term (6 months – 2 years) β Ambitious goals and outside your comfort zone
- Long term (3+ years) β Completely surreal goals, anything is possible
Once you have your goals on paper, re-read them frequently to remind yourself why you are doing all this work.
Every action you take should bring you closer to these goals.

3 – Create a routine
This is the key to making steady progress towards your goals.
If you repeat the same actions daily, your subconscious will start to learn this new routine by heart until your brain goes into autopilot mode.
At that point you won’t even have to worry about your schedule.
You will then have freed up space for your creativity and productivity.
The most exciting thing is to create your own routine. Then you only need 30 days for it to be anchored in your brain.
To give you an example, here is my routine:
- Wake up at 6:30 am
- 45 min of sport
- 20 min meditation
- 90 min of work
- 15 min break
- 90 min of work
- 1 hour break
- 90 min of work
Day finished at 2:30 pm.
I am free.
It’s up to you to create your own!
A routine is also essential since you will be working alone at home or in a coworking space.
If you don’t have a structure, you’ll quickly get lost.

- The Miracle Morning – Hal Elrod
- Atomic Habits – James Clear
4 – You will fail
It’s part of the learning process. You’re bound to miss out at some point. It will cost you time and money, but you will never make the same mistake twice.
I have made a lot of mistakes along the way and I don’t regret any of them.
5 – Don’t neglect your relationships with your loved ones
Don’t let your work cut you off from your loved ones.
Don’t forget that you are doing all this work to retire as soon as possible.
Who are you going to spend all this free time with if you neglect your surroundings today?
6 – Learn to manage your money
One of my biggest mistakes.
When you have your own business, your income will rarely be regular. It will be difficult for you to manage your budget.
I found myself completely broke twice after earning 10k⬠per month.
π Set a salary and change it every year
π Set a budget to reinvest in your business
π Everything else, put it aside, invest it
π Diversify your investments: Life insurance, stocks, crypto, art, real estate…
Automate it all with automatic transfers.
If you win a lot today you can lose everything tomorrow. So have your back when things are going well.

7 – Avoid the “shiny object” syndrome
Once you get your nose into online business, you’ll quickly realize the thousands of opportunities this world offers.
You can quickly drift away from your goals by starting a new project before you finish the ones you’ve started.
π So stick to MAXIMUM 3 projects at a time.
π Give yourself 3 to 5 years before you really succeed in what you do
π Don’t change jobs every 2 sec
8 – Travel
I love France, but unfortunately it has its limits.
It is difficult (for me) to develop professionally in France.
Mentalities are rigid and it is difficult to be ambitious without having to face the judgment of those around you.
So put aside, go to nomadlist.com and grab a ticket to a destination that combines coworking and budget.
You’ll be free of financial constraints and you’ll meet hundreds of entrepreneurs, just like you, who are hungry for success!
